The second annual LTE Awards are taking place on 17 May in Amsterdam

Informa Telecoms and Media has announced the shortlist for the LTE Awards 2011. The ceremony will take place at the forthcoming LTE World Summit taking place in De Duif, Amsterdam on the evening of 17 May 2011.

The awards follows on from last years highly succesful event and this year the judging panel consists of high-profile individuals from a number of world leading service providers – BT Wholesale, Telefonica, AT&T, France Telecom, Three, E-Plus Mobilfunk, Cosmote and Telecom Italia.

Giles Cummings, events director at Informa Telecoms & Media, said in a statement; “Now in its second year, the LTE Awards brings industry leaders together to celebrate innovation and excellence within the LTE industry as part of the LTE World Summit.”

The event includes LTE Masterclass sessions which are free to attend.
