[Barcelona, Spain, February 25, 2019] Etihad Etisalat “Mobily” and Huawei signed a cooperation agreement between the two parties in the field of network and operational transformation in order to improve the quality of Mobily services, in addition to reducing the operational costs of networks. The signing ceremony was held on Monday 25 February 2019 between Eng Maziad Al-Harbi, Chief Technology Officer at Mobily and Zhang Dongliang, CEO of Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia, at the International Telecom Conference in Barcelona.

Under the agreement, Mobily will deploy a simplified and pioneering network in 2019, aiming to maximize the benefits of structuring operational expenses and preparing for future automatic operation. The simplified network includes a multi-band, multi-band; And Mobily will launch an automatic operating solution in 2019 to improve the quality and efficiency of operation.

Commenting on the agreement, Eng. Mezid Al Harbi commented on Mobily’s rapid development in terms of technology and services.
