WiMAX Forum® Network Operators Task Force to Host Meeting at WiMAX Forum Global Congress 2009

Portland, OR – May 14, 2009 – Today the WiMAX Forum® Network Operators Task Force (NOTF) announced that they will hold a meeting with WiMAX operators at the WiMAX Forum Global Congress 2009 in Amsterdam.  “WiMAX is here now, and it is here to stay. Each month the ecosystem shows more progress, with new operators, new networks, and exciting new devices. The NOTF now supports over 80 WiMAX operators, and continues to expand membership at a rapid pace,” said George Matsumoto, NOTF Chair.

The operator only meeting will take place on Wednesday 3rd June 2009 with an aim to share best practices, discuss deployment issues and discover the lessons learned from global players in a peer-to-peer environment. For more information or to reserve your seat, please contact [email protected].

WiMAX Forum Global Congress 2009 will gather the WiMAX industry’s key decision makers together, featuring speakers from more than 40 operator companies, 14 analysts, 7 regulators and 3 investors from 40 different countries.
