T-Mobile launches fourth Android handset

T-Mobile continued cheerleading Android this week, with the announcement that it is to launch its fourth device based on the Google-developed platform.
T-Mobile’s US subsidiary will introduce the Android-powered Samsung Behold II as an operator exclusive before Christmas.
The Behold II is a full touchscreen phone incorporating a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen and Samsung’s own TouchWiz user interface on top of the Android OS, which allows customisation of the homescreens via widgets located in a slide out tray.
Underneath the custom interface the Behold II features the typical suite of Google applications including Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube and Google Talk. The device also features access to the Android Market, wifi, a five megapixel camera, GPS, and support for Exchange ActiveSync.
Last month T-Mobile launched the Android-based Pulse, which followed in the wake of the G1 and G2 devices.
