Indian electronics manufacturer and retailer Intex Technologies has introduced the country’s first Firefox OS-powered device, which it also claims is India’s lowest priced smartphone at Rs1999 (€25).

The Intex Cloud FX is available exclusively on Snapdeal.com in two colours: black and white; and features Bluetooth, wifi, dual SIM and an expandable memory of upto 4GB; as well as a 1GHz processor. The device also supports several languages like English, Hindi and Tamil. A built-in usage monitor that allow users to monitor and control their data usage.

“Intex Cloud FX is now selling in the market, being the first Firefox OS device available in India and Asia.
