Huawei wins big at TechXLR8 awards

Networking vendor Huawei prevailed in three categories at the inaugural TechXLR8 awards, which are designed to represent a cross-section of emerging technologies.

The TechXLR8 event at the Excel is run by the KNect365 division of Informa and sees several of its telecoms and technology events hosted under one roof for the first time. Among the sectors covered are: IoT, 5G, VR & AR, Connected Cars, Cloud & DevOps, AI & Machine Learning, and Apps and it forms part of the even broader London Tech Week event.

“KNect365 have brought together these shows as we recognize the convergence in the tech industry and the TechXLR8 Awards highlights success and excellence of the companies within it,” said Sam Oakley, Senior Portfolio Director. “We’re delighted to have had so many fantastic entries which truly showcases the pinnacle of innovation and huge congratulations to all the winners.”

As you would expect from such a diverse set of sectors there was a broad range of winners, but Huawei still managed to pick up three awards and was the only multiple winner. Nokia and Ericsson did manage one each though. Here’s the full list.
