Philips’ Xenium range has 40 day battery life

Dutch electronics firm, Philips, has announced a new line of mobiles it claims can run for 40 days and 40 nights of standby on a single charge.

Released to the Hong Kong market, the Xenium range are a traditional chocolatebar design in three flavours, the [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected] The [email protected] is the entry-level device with dual-band GSM connectivity and, according to the company, lasts slightly longer than its siblings on a single charge. It uses a 1.5-inch OLED display with 2MB onboard memory.

The [email protected] comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, Java 2.0, and 18MB of onboard memory. The [email protected] uses a 128×160 touch screen, built-in MP3 player, miniSD expansion. It does not have IrDA or Bluetooth.
