What CTOs and CIOs are losing sleep over
The fast pace of technology development has kept the CTOs and CIOs constantly on the edge of their seats, anxious that they might miss the next big thing hitting their company. In this survey report jointly developed by Comarch and Telecoms.com, the executives tasked to drive their companies’ technology strategies share what they need and what they worry about, particularly in the new domains like IoT, business assurance, and virtualisation. For example, more than three quarters of the CTOs and CIOs think predictive analytics would be the most promising contributions AI applications could make; or two-thirds of the IT professionals and C-suite executives believe their companies are moving from data ponds to data lakes. This is probably the best positioned group to tell the industry what technology trends companies cannot afford to miss.
