International telecom fraud is a skeleton in the closet for mobile operators worldwide, resulting in significant revenue losses and reputational damage. Fraud attacks on international voice and roaming traffic often take place using sophisticated techniques on the home network or while roaming, making detection almost impossible.
This use case looks at how mobile operators can proactively protect their subscribers and networks with the BICS FraudGuard solution. Using crowdsourced fraud traffic patterns and a database of more than 50 million known fraudulent numbers, operators can rely on the solution to identify and automatically block fraud traffic before it affects their international voice and roaming business.
