As 5G moves to service deployment in the field, engineers, technicians and installers need to deal with all the challenges of ensuring that rollouts meet both the profitability and the staggering advances in service levels expected. Validating the 5G technology that cuts across all aspects of the network—core, transport, radio access network (RAN), and the underlying fiber infrastructure that connects it, necessities a paradigm shift in field validation and assurance solutions to successfully launch the 5G technology, while maintaining existing 4G infrastructure.
This paper will analyze some of the network changes introduced in 5G, the implications and the tools you can rely on to address these challenges.
