Like a drifter just looking for a place to belong, Ruckus Wireless has been bought for the second time in less than a year. This time Arris has chucked $800 million at Broadcom to pick up Ruckus as well as its ICX switch biz.
US video and broadband technology player Arris is acquiring UK set-top-box maker Pace for $2.1 billion, in a bid to not only dominate the STB market but strengthen its cloud content and cable infrastructure operations.
