Operator group Telekom Austria has parted ways with group chief financial officer Hans Tschuden. His exit appears to be over a conflict with the operator’s Works Council concerning Latin American operator group America Movil, which recently increased its shareholding in the firm.
Swedish operator group Tele2 has announced the appointment of Allison Kirkby as CFO. Kirkby will succeed former CFO Lars Nilsson and begin her role on May 1st, 2014.

Infrastructure vendor Ericsson has reported year on year flat sales in 2Q13, generating SEK 55.3bn. Operating income grew from SEK 2.1bn in 2Q12 to SEK 2.5bn, while operating margin grew from 3.8 per cent to 4.5 per cent.
