Three UK reports flat 2014 sales growth
Three UK has published its 2014 annual results showing flat revenue growth of 1% to £2.05 billion, however EBITDA increased by 31% year-on-year, while net customer service revenue was up 6% compared to 2013.

Telecom Italia has announced it is planning to buy out its media division of which it already owns 78%. The telco said the incorporation of Telecom Italia Media (TI Media), which has been publicly traded for over a decade, has been approved by board members on the basis of simplifying and rationalising the group structure.
Orange has posted its full year results for 2014 showing slowing of revenue decline. The telco, which has implemented some fairly hefty cost-cutting measures to better margins, said it has managed to achieve all of its targets for last year. However, it predicts decline will continue in 2015 as the price war in the French market continues to bite.
French Alcatel-Lucent has reported its 4th quarter and full year results showing improved profit margin for 2014 following the infrastructure vendor’s cost-saving plan dubbed the Shift Plan.
Emerging markets-focused operator and media service group Millicom has reported its 2014 financial results showing 14.9% revenue growth for the year, largely attributed to its expansion across the Latin American market.
Nokia has reported its results for Q4 and the full year 2014 showing growth in the networks business aided by strong sales in the North American market. The kit maker’s services also returned to year-on-year growth for the first time since the final quarter of 2012.
AT&T has posted its 2014 full year results, showing financial strain as it made a loss of nearly $4 billion in the last quarter alone. However, the operator still managed to exceed analyst expectations, albeit narrowly as it earned 55 cents per share (excluding exceptional items), a penny more than expected.
Chinese telecom kit vendor ZTE has announced preliminary full-year financial results showing 94.2% increase in in net profits for 2014. However, the firm’s annual revenue is expected to grow at a more modest rate with an 8% increase compared to 2013.
