Altnet and business services provider Neos Networks is set to upgrade Network Rail’s internet connectivity with 16,000Km of high-capacity fibre, which will ‘transform UK rail for the passengers and neighbouring communities it serves.’
UK ISP Giganet has brought in Neos Networks to provide backhaul and data centre connectivity to support its new southern counties network and plans to rollout more gigabit FTTP services.
Neos Networks is making a lot of noise about its new full fibre metro networks in a handful of major UK cities, but it hasn’t actually launched any of them yet.
