The UK’s largest mobile operator by subscriber count – EE – has announced Q1 revenues that were broadly flat year-on-year. Within that, however, EE continued the healthy growth of its 4G subscriber base and also added 50,000 broadband subscribers.
The absence of its Snapdragon SoC in Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone – the Galaxy S6 – weighed heavily on Qualcomm’s Q1 2015 earnings announcement.
Swedish networking vendor Ericsson has reported Q1 2015 earning that revealed a year-on-year revenue declines of -6% when adjusted for currency, but such as the extent of currency factors that unadjusted revenues were actually up 13%.
