Austrian mobile operator One, which is joint owned by France Telecom and a private equity firm, changed its brand name to Orange on Monday.

The Austrian operator has become the second company in as many weeks to join the Orange brand, following the recent launch of operations in Kenya.

One is 65 per cent owned by Mid Europa Partners, and 35 per cent owned by France Telecom. The Austrian operation is the third largest mobile operator in the country with 2 million customers and a market share close to 20 per cent.
