Orange taps Ericsson for network management

Swedish vendor Ericsson has been tapped by Orange for a major managed services contract in the Netherlands.

The agreement covers operations, rollout and field maintenance of the Orange mobile network.

During the process, 190 jobs will be transferred to Ericsson.

The agreement, which covers a time frame of five years, will allow Orange Netherlands to better focus on other aspects of the market.
