The Swedish telecoms firm Tele2, may leave the Portuguese market according to reports in Diario Economico.

The reports, which do not name sources, suggest the move may be due to restructuring by Tele2’s parent company which could switch to markets offering faster returns.

Tele2 has been part of the Portuguese market since 2004 and is the biggest competitor to incumbent Portugal Telecom, particularly in the fixed-line business.
