Device manufacturer Acer has unveiled a range of Android-powered goodies to be launched next year and screen size is definitely at the top of the company’s importance list.

The company has an unnamed smartphone in the works, “with the soul of a tablet,” boasting a 4.8” widescreen with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1024×480 all powered by a Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor and Android Froyo 2.2.

Also in the Android portfolio is a 10.1” tablet with wifi and 3G connectivity, a built-in HDMI port and 1080p capability; and a 7” Android tablet with 1280×800 16:10 aspect ratio full touch screen.

But the company has also shown off a dual screen 14” device, the Iconia, which looks like two tablets glued together, eschewing the traditional hard keyboard for a second touch screen interface.
