Octopus invests in TouchType for Android

Investment house Octopus Investments has committed seed capital of £275,000 to TouchType, a business founded in 2008 which works on predictive texting apps for the Android platform. TouchType’s core product is the Fluency Prediction Engine, which claims to boost user writing efficiency by up to 50 per cent compared to a standard QWERTY keyboard.
