Samsung is bringing the Kindle experience to its handsets

Amazon has partnered with Samsung to launch a custom ebook service, bundling a content subscription with the device.

Kindle for Samsung will debut in April starting with the Galaxy S5 and on existing Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets that have Android 4.0 or above.

The content subscription, Samsung Book Deals, will provide up to 12 free eBooks a year to all Galaxy device customers. People can choose a free book from a selection of four different titles every month in over 90 countries.

In related news it has been revealed that Samsung plans to introduce two devices based on the Tizen operating system after introducing the software on its latest smart watch.

The two forthcoming devices are understood to be a high end handset and one targeted at the mid range.

Samsung merged its own smartphone operating system, Bada, with the Intel-backed Linux spin off Tizen in 2012.
