Symbian-powered 3G Samsung expected

South Korean manufacturer Samsung is widely expected to reveal its HSDPA-enabled SGH-i520 handset on Tuesday. The phone combines the Symbian operating system with Nokia’s Series 60 interface.

The device – a hybrid phone/PDA will be aimed at the European market, according to Samsung and is expected to do well in the fashion stakes with a tiny 1.8cm thick waist.

The slider device has Bluetooth combined with a 2.0 Megapixel camera and connectes to a PC over USB 2.0.

Samsung now has 4 Symbian devices in its catalogue.
