From an impressive array of entries, 68 make up the final shortlist across 16 categories covering the key segments of today's telecoms market.

The Telecoms.com Awards shortlist has been revealed

The shortlist for the 2014 Telecoms.com Awards has been revealed with vendors, operators and consultancies from the world over submitting telecoms industry innovations. From an impressive array of entries, 68 make up the final shortlist across 16 categories covering the key segments of today’s telecoms market.

Categories cover 2014’s major talking points and emerging technologies, ranging from innovations in cloud computing to CEM, handset innovation, urban improvements, and wifi.

This year’s awards also sees the introduction of two new categories recognising outstanding contributions by ancillary services to telecoms and network management excellence. The latter pertains to best use of network management services that facilitate more efficient control over network infrastructure, including network security, virtualization initiatives (such as SDN & NFV) and analytics platforms.
