Founder and ex-CEO of Canadian carrier Rogers Wireless, Edward Samuel “Ted” Rogers, died earlier this week aged 75.

Rogers, who suffered from congestive heart failure, saw his health weaken over the past few years. Last month he was admitted to hospital for treatment, forcing him to relinquish his responsibilities.

Alan Horn, chairman of the board, has been running the company and looks like he will continue to do so for an indefinite period.
