Operator group France Telecom has tightened up its executive management and simplified its innovation department in a bid to better address operational and strategic challenges.
Former head of Orange Group’s enterprise division, Vivek Badrinath will now take on the role of deputy CEO in charge of the group’s innovation, technology and customer experience resources.
Badrinath will contribute his experience in technical fields, customer service in the enterprise sector, and in the development of growth engines such as cloud computing and M2M, the group said.
Meanwhile, Thierry Bonhomme will amend his job title from senior EVP of Orange Labs Networks and Carriers to Senior EVP in charge of Orange Business Services. In addition, Béatrice Mandine is appointed senior EVP in charge of communication and brand, while Bruno Mettling takes responsibility for the internal communications department. Meanwhile Christine Albanel will take on accountability for the group’s corporate social responsibility.
Jean-Philippe Vanot, Jean-Paul Cottet and Xavier Couture will leave the executive committee, the group announced. The three will continue to serve the Group in the coming months.
In addition to the chairman and CEO, the executive committee will now be composed of 11 executive directors.
