Canadian software vendor Redknee as won a deal from Bosnia and Herzegovina’s BH Telecom that will see it supply the operator with a converged billing, charging, policy and customer care solution.  BH Telecom is an existing Redknee customer and the upgrade package is a “multi-million dollar deal,” the firm said.

Redknee said that BH will be able to use the integrated customer care solution to “provide advanced support to its customer care agents, enabling them to quickly resolve subscriber issues and marketing new incentives and promotions to attract customers.”

BH is the market leader in Bosnia and Herzegovina, although second placed Mobilna Srpska is close behind. The CEO of BH, Nedžad Rašidbegović, said the firm needed a “flexible, scalable converged billing and customer care solution that would support our growth and business continuity strategy,” and enable it to “maintain our market lead.”
