UC EXPO 2016 set to transform the way we work
Europe’s largest unified communications and collaboration event, 19-20 April 2016, now open for registration
5th January 2016, London – UC EXPO, Europe’s largest unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) event, today announces that its 2016 event is now open for registration. The free-to-attend event, taking place on 19-20 April at London’s Olympia, brings together a range of technologies and services that enable not only vast efficiencies and cost savings for businesses, but also greater connectivity, creativity and collaboration than ever before.
The 2015 event saw over 90 specialist suppliers exhibiting and nearly 5,000 IT professionals walk through its doors over the two days. 2016 is expected to build on the successes of 2015, bringing together deployment experts from both private and public sectors and addressing those who want to transform their working environment to meet employee demands, boost collaboration between global teams, make themselves accessible to an international talent pool and create huge cost savings.
This year’s speaker line-up includes Thomas Davies, Director of Google for Work in EMEA, who will explore key unified communications trends for the next 12 months and discuss how businesses across all industries – from banking to retail – are already transforming the way their employees work globally. Davies has led Google for Work since 2007 and sits on the Technology Advisory board of a major UK bank, specialising in providing guidance on cultural technology-led transformation.
Other notable speakers include Marianne Calder, Cisco’s Managing Director for EMEAR Collaboration and Video Business; Julien Codorniou, Director, Facebook at Work; Avaya’s EU Director and Chief Architect for Digital Enterprise, Aaron Miller; Tom Arbuthnot, Principal Solutions Architect at UC specialist, Modality Systems; and Dean Bubley, founder of technology analyst and consulting firm, Disruptive Analysis.
Bradley Maule-ffinch, Director of Strategy for UC EXPO, says: “2015 was an incredibly successful year and 2016 is set to be even bigger and better, with bigger theatres, more attendees, and more in-depth technical sessions. We’ve seen 29% year-on-year growth in attendance which highlights just how fast the industry is growing and how quickly businesses are adapting to these new technologies. With employee expectations and businesses’ desire to have an increasingly international talent pool at their fingertips continuing to rise, businesses are chomping at the bit for tools and services that will make them better equipped for a more secure, productive and collaborative workforce.”
