Leading Turkish operator, Turkcell, said Monday that it has become the latest carrier to strike a deal with Apple to supply the iPhone 3G later this year.

The operator said it will bring the iconic device to its prepaid and postpaid customers ‘later this year’.

Turkcell will be the second operator to distribute the iPhone in Turkey, after Vodafone announced a deal earlier this year.
