Comarch delivers to the world’s largest corporations

They are among the wealthiest, most profitable, and fastest growing companies in the world – and they turn to Comarch for delivery of their IT systems and solutions. Globally recognized brands such as Coca Cola, big-hitting banking organizations including ING Group and BNP Paribas Group, and telecommunications giants Deutsche Telekom and Vodafone are just some of the names on this year’s Fortune Magazine Top 500 list, who trust Comarch to deliver when it really matters.

In all, Comarch serves 28 of this year’s Fortune Top 500. Among these are the firms that have made it into the elite, ranking in the first 100. These, alongside the businesses listed above, include major European players such as Aegon, BP, Telefonica, Carrefour, Citigroup and Allianz.

Outside Europe, Comarch’s global operations have seen its offices in Chicago and Panama serving other Fortune Top 500 customers, such as América Móvil and Coca-Cola. Comarch is also making headway in the Asian market following the establishment of offices in China (Shanghai), and Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City), in May 2009. After just six months of operations in Ho Chi Min City, Comarch won 200 customers in the Vietnamese market.

Piotr Piatosa, vice-president of the management board and head of the telecommunications business unit at Comarch S.A., said: “We are pleased that more and more companies trust us. Our record with past and current projects can speak for itself. Following changes to the market and the requirements of clients, we tailor our portfolio with the aim of  improving customer experience. For example, according to the predictions for 2011, cloud-based systems and solutions will become more popular – and we are ready for it with our Cloud Service Management & Billing systems.”

The Fortune Global 500 ranking of the world’s largest corporations by revenue is published every year. In 2010 the first place was taken by Wal-Mart, followed by Royal Dutch Shell. The fastest growing industries by revenue were food production and energy. By profit, mining, crude-oil production, aerospace and defense topped the list. The United States dominated the list with 140 companies, followed by Japan, then China.
