SFR teams with Napster on mobile music service

French operator SFR has teamed up with music streaming service Napster to make a co-branded product available on the operator’s recently launched LTE service.

One time target of the music industry, Napster, only launched in France in June this year and is offering SFR 4G users a choice of five streaming options to go with their tariffs. The company will exclusively provide music entertainment services for all SFR customers.

The partnership allows SFR customers access to Napster’s catalogue of music from both local and international artists. They can access more than 20 million songs globally – online and offline – through connected audio systems, smartphones and tablets. The service is available for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android smartphones.

Napster’s own music experts also offer playlists, featured artists, inside tips, live sessions and exclusive artist interviews in the Napster Music Guide.

The LTE Voice Summit, part of the highly successful LTE World Series of events, takes place on 1st – 2nd October 2013 at the Hilton Paddington, London.
