Chinese consumers reportedly rush to buy Huawei phones while they still can
Huawei will soon be unable to make phones thanks to US sanctions, so demand is apparently spiking for them in China.
The news comes courtesy of Reuters, which reports that China’s major phone markets are experiencing significant price inflation on Huawei smartphones, especially the flagship ones. It looks like Chinese consumers have been keeping their eye on the news and, quite reasonably, anticipate a major shortage of Huawei gear before long.
The law of supply and demand rarely lets us down, especially since an anticipated fall in supply often brings about increased demand by itself. The newly enriched Chinese consumer is said to love a status symbol and it seems the most expensive designer versions of Huawei’s phones are going for 40% more than they were at the start of the year.
Thanks to US sanctions Huawei is unable to manufacture its own Kirin chips because chip fabs use American kit and obviously can’t buy them from market leader Qualcomm, which is a US company. Mediatek and SMIC have asked the US for a license to do business but it’s unlikely to be granted by an administration apparently determined to make an example of the Chinese tech giant.
What a lie! Why would people rush to buy phones from a brand that would go out of business and stop every supports gor its phones too?
Huawei should manufacture its own kit rather than rely on americans

Huawei phones are some of the best in the world the sooner this utter fool trump had gone the better.
I want to buy one too as the Huawei phone is much better than any Android phone in the market, best camera bar none. I will not buy an American phone nor automobile. Take that Trump bcos what u did suck. Blame everything on China.
I totally disagree with the sanctions against HUAWEI by trump his last name would be more suitable if it were thump as is his style as the future of telecommunication is going worldwide it seems crazy to restrict such a large part of the world because he had a dummy spit and thumped HUAWEI, surely our future will be brighter without THUMP..
Trump jealousy will force Huawei to develop own H Tech and so US companies will end up poorer.
It’s all wrong what’s happening to Huawei, just because trump could see the competition coming through the ranks, it shouldn’t be allowed to do what he has done. Huawei are top of their game technologies wise, that seems to scare Trump. There has been no problem with other technology installations like 4G. He cannot stand trump not being No1.
Huawei were becoming to much of a threat to Apple he trump didn’t like that from mobile phone sales & 5G was leaving trump not in control again, it is totally unacceptable that he can get away with it with no challenges from any where, it seems America & Trump can do what they want, wrong in this day & age.
Many Huawei lovers will wait for the mid 2021 launch of the new model using their own processor chipset in BALONG 5000 for the 5G AI completed with the super cam, intergrated with TomTom navigational map facility. Also her very own search machanism, it may be limited to a few languages but most importantly the system must have Chinese and English languages incorporated in search app as the base in the Huawei’s AppGallery.
I believe many smartphone freak will wait a bit longer to own one of the Huawei smart tech phone. And may come with Baidu satellite transmission program. Most smartphone consumer usually own more than one phone. For me I have had two phones now and will wait for the Huawei smart tech phone to launch in mid 2021.
I have owned Huawei smart phones continuously. They are the very best product ever. America is jealous and selfish of the Chinese innovative products.
I will wait for the year 2021 for the new smartphone. We pray for the new American leaders that are open minded.

It is sad to see unethical and devious American political action against China and other nations. The US is nothing but the world’s biggest bully. It is now time for the world to stand up against this big bully.
