Nokia extends N series with two devices
The Nokia N79 boasts HSDPA and wifi connectivity as well as A-GPS and a 5 megapixel camera, which allows images to be geotagged to specific locations. An FM transmitter also means the device can to broadcast to a car or room stereo.
The N97 ships with a 4GB storage card and ten pre-loaded N-Gage games. It is expected to hit shelves in October, with an estimated retail price of Eur350.
At the higher end of the scale is the N85, which packs a 2.6″ OLED screen alongside many of the same features as the N79, such as FM transmitter, 5 megapixel camera, geotagging capabilities, HSDPA and wifi.
The N85 has a slider form factor, compared to the candy bar style of the N79, and also boasts dedicated gaming keys, which light up when the device is in landscape gaming mode.
The N85 comes with an 8 GB microSD card and is expected to begin shipping in October, with an estimated retail price of Eur450.
