Apple confirmed rumours on Wednesday night with an agreement to acquire subscription streaming music service Beats Music, and Beats Electronics, which makes the popular Beats headphones, founded by rapper Dr Dre.
US carrier AT&T has collaborated with rapper-owned music and entertainment firm, Dr Dre’s Beats Music, to deliver an over the top music offering targeted at families.
Handset manufacturer HTC is upping its game in the youth market with the revelation this week that it will purchase a majority stake in high end headphone maker Beats Electronics, founded by rapper and producer Dr Dre.
